It’s time for Part 3 of the showdown between Spencer and Veronica. This time, Veronica reveals that she and Peter are planning on selling their house, seemingly to get a fresh start. Spencer makes a quip about the house not really being her home, sending Veronica into an emotional tirade. “A family lived here,” she insists. “A family I’ve tried to hold together despite all the crap life has thrown at us. Not because we have the same blood running through our veins but because we’re a family. All I ever wanted to do is make you feel safe and nurtured and loved. That’s what made it a home for me.” It’s certainly a sentimental moment, and it’s clear that Veronica genuinely has a ton of love for her daughter.
