And at least some of them were people who were not out yet, had been still in the place of sort of confusion and denial that I spent a long time in, and that felt empowered by me sharing my story to give them space to unfold in their truths as well. I am a person that believes the world needs to change a lot, I think this world is really desperately in need of healing. My hope is that over time I can help in that process. For me, my ability to come out and live my trans truth is a result of my own process of healing. And music had been a big part of that process of healing.
