Surely there's a way of thinking about the economy that makes sense to our own lives. Some of it's about us as people — the way we make decisions, what motivates us. Some of it is about the money we earn, what it's worth, how we spend it. Some is related to the societies we live in, how equal or unequal they are, how our governments are funded, what kind of world we're leaving behind for the next generation.
