I am a person of mixed race; I'm Palestinian, and I'm also Lebanese and Italian, so I can definitely relate to not seeing myself on television when I was younger and even until now. I think it's really cool that our show not only represents a few LGBTQ characters, but they also represent characters of multiple identities, whether that's their background, their ethnicity, or just where they're from.
