And I think that if I was to analyze that, I think that to some degree that Jimi Hendrix's music has a very high degree of abstraction because of its use of really complex timbral compositional devices, and you know a number of other things. So that in that plain of abstraction that that music created I was able to experience fluidity around gender that was more consistent with what my experience was. I definitely think that that's a big part of the music that I’ve created is to try to use sound as a way of creating a landscape. And so making music I think, for me was a way to stay in that landscape.
