Campaign work can feel ephemeral; regardless of the outcome, once an election is over, a campaign dissolves. But campaign work can have an impact beyond Election Day. In South Philly, we are trying to build something that lasts — both for Fiedler’s office, and in the community as well. South Philly needs the leaders our volunteers have become. We’ve tried to help them build their skills and to think about how they can continue the work we’ve started together.
