After writing “Jopping,” I definitely studied a lot of K-pop music and did my homework because I knew nothing about it beforehand. So as I was writing my new music, I started thinking about what kinds of melodies and bridges I could incorporate from K-pop and how I could make them my own — I’m singing on this project, which is something I never thought I’d do.
