I think there is a lot more that we can be doing at the city level to help young people, particularly those who are in our school district. One thing that the city can do, and has done a little bit, is partnering with the school system and the school district to make sure that we are providing resources for young people who have housing insecurity â proactively going to students. Teachers can often identify students who are experiencing housing insecurity, even if they donât say that they are.
