Often, it looks really different and wouldnât even be considered âhomelessness.â If a young person is homeless, often what theyâre doing is living with a cousin or with a friend, or theyâre couch-surfing and trying to find a place where they can live long-term. It can mean spending some nights in a car and some nights in a shelter and some nights in a home. It doesnât look like a family living in a tent.
