They are ready for a fight and start breaking windows and trashing the cars in the parking lot, while everyone in the diner hides. Pop doesn’t have a gun, but he does give Archie an idea: throw some Molotov cocktails from the roof! The Ghoulie leader tries to goad Archie into hitting him. Before that escalates, ex-Sheriff Keller, Fred Andrews, and F.P. Jones show up in Keller’s police cruiser, with a shotgun in hand to scare the gang off. The Ghoulies leave and Kevin speaks for us all when he takes a pic and proclaims “Hot Riverdale dads to the rescue!” The only H.R.D. not in the equation? Hiram, who is not happy to hear how the situation was diffused at Pop’s.
