I feel like in the first season there was an innocence to all the characters, there was an innocence to the audience as well. I know I was writing much simpler and sort of straightforward riffs and musical motifs and melodies. And then as we get into the serial killer [storyline], we start to go a little bit more horror. Now, as we get into the mystical realm, it’s all these otherworldly sounds. It’s nice when we get to use some of those earlier sounds, like when they’re back in school.
